The new series of Grand Designs Abroad hits our screens on Channel 4 at 9pm on 08/09/04 following self builders creating their dream homes in yet more amazing landscapes. Of course a helping of language barriers and foreign planning laws make themselves known - particularly when one couple paint their house blue when the local council passed a ruling that all houses can only be white.
